Volunteers Needed PDF Print E-mail

FRIENDS OF THE TEHACHAPI DEPOT NEED YOUR HELP!

We are so excited! The Tehachapi Depot Museum will have a grand opening June 5, 2010 and it is scheduled to be open five days a week 11AM to 4PM Thursday through Monday.

The Museum will offer so much to this community, it offers a lot of great memories and was built with a lot of pride by all who worked on it. It will incorporate a park for all to enjoy. This is only a few items that the Museum will bring to the Community. However to make it work we need you.

Friends of the Depot will be managing the facility. To make this a successful adventure, we need your help. Below are a few areas in which we need volunteers. All positions are equally important, but the ones in bold are needed to keep it open five days a week.

No special skills or experience is required–just a desire to help

We appreciate your support and will forward your name to our Volunteer Coordinator.

Docent training will probably begin late April.

Please contact Carol Westover, Board Secretary at 823-7832 or you may contact Linda Gordon at Trains, Etc. 822-7777
