INVITATION TO EVENT
AT THE DEPOT

      This is an open invitation for a rare opportunity to see the Tehachapi Depot Museum’s Stokoe Signal Garden IN ACTION!  On Sunday, July 30, at 2:00 p.m.   Mark McGowan (www.YouTube.com/@MarkClayMcGowan) will be conducting an in-person demonstration of the Southern Pacific (SP) signals that are located on the museum’s campus.  The signals were collected by the late Bill Stokoe (who had an over thirty-year career as an SP signal maintainer) and were featured on the television program Road Trip with Huell Howser in 2001.  
This 30 minute event is free.  All aboard!

October 14th and 15th - Tehachapi Apple Festival
on Green Street  

From the Organizer:  Enjoy Family Fun in the clean, clear air of the Tehachapi Mountains at the Tehachapi Apple Festival on Saturday, Oct 15th from 10am til 5pm or Sunday, Oct 16th from 10am til 4pm. The Festival features, food, vendors, a kids zone with lots of bounce houses, kids carnival games, petting zoo, face painting, magic and lots of other fun (most for free). You can also get kids ID cards for your families protection done. It all takes place on Green Street in beautiful downtown Tehachapi.
